Thank you for remembering me for the years I taught at Cherry Lawn. I lived, with my two sons on the school grounds, and recall those years as the sweetest years I have had in the U.S.A.

Cherry Lawn School had high academic goals for the students and was deeply concerned on the morale development of its students and the respect and tolerance of other people's beliefs.

Cherry Lawn had a beautiful music department and offered performances not only for their own students but also to neighbors of the school in Darien.

I could tell you about the performance we had before the Christmas parties (where the whole town of Darien was invited), and the "square dances" on the tennis court, and the picnics at the lake -- many things to remember.

God bless you all for this reunion -- deeply sorry I cannot attend.
