A Note from Jerry Rosenbaum

After graduating from Cherry Lawn School in 1938, I attended Virginia Tech and graduated in 1942. From there I served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a communications officer with the 90th Bomber Group from 1942-45. I also served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict from 1950-52.

After my military experience, I pursued a career in the insurance industry. I am currently seventy six years old and am retired as owner and President of Rosenbaum-Childress Insurance Center.

My wife, Jane, and I have a son, Sidney, who also attended Cherry Lawn, graduating in 1964. I am not connected to the Internet, but our son is.

I am very much interested in learning about my classmates.
