Presently, I own and operate a tavern/restaurant in the quaint town of Wurtsboro, NY. For many years I managed a race horse farm and bred and raised my own thoroughbred racers, some were quite successful...something I miss very dearly.
I am sorry to have missed the l999 reunion and hope in the future I can attend. I was pleased as I looked through the registry that many of my friends of that time are indeed alive and well and have been in touch with several already. I was sad to hear of the passing of Bazz Burwell, my former English teacher...a gentleman I cherished and so respected. My greatest challenge, under his direction , was his casting me as "Ophelia" in our senior class production of "Hamlet". This would be an experience to be talked about for years thereafter ...One of the finer moments in my book of memories.
Also, very impressed with the works of Mr. Zuber and I read with great interest
his letter to the attendees of the past reunion.
In summation...those were the days...an awakening of myself and memories of
times that would carry me forward....
Sincerely,
Judith Monteverdi
