The Cherry Lawn Trophy Award

The Cherry Lawn Trophy Award was instituted in 1959 by Mr. and Mrs. Melville Kahn and was "inscribed annually with the name of the Upper School student who best exemplifies the ideals of Cherry Lawn, namely: Academic Excellence, Proficiency in Extra Curricular Activities, and Growth in Leadership, Character and Citizenship." The awardee was not necessarily the valedictorian, or even a graduating senior.
