Hello fellow alumni!
In 1950 I graduated from CLS and that year I held the position of
Photography Editor of the Cherry Pit. That was the beginning of my lifelong
career in broadcast journalism. After leaving NBC in 1959, I found my way to
a fledgling news operation at the American Broadcasting Company in New York
City. Eventually, after spending twenty years working on their half hour
network news program with various anchor people, I was assigned, in 1981, to
produce segments for 20/20. I remained with the program until my retirement
in 1996, earning two Emmys along the way. Above is one of my fond memories
of working with Barbara Walters. We are seen here celebrating the
15th anniversary of 20/20.
Best wishes,
Bob Brandt
